Connie's Carmel Fudge Cake
- 18 1/4 oz. package of chocolate cake mix
- 1/2 cup margarine
- 14 oz. caramels unwrapped
- 14 oz. sweetened condensed milk
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- Prepare chocolate cake mix to the directions.
- Place two cups of batter into a greased 13x9" pan.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes and set aside.
- In a saucepan, melt margarine and caramels. Remove from heat and add sweetened condensed milk. Pour over baked cake. Spread remaining amount of batter of the mixture. Sprinkle with pecans and bake for an additional 30 minutes. Cool before serving. Serves 15 people.
